Many people want to look at others on the internet. Most people just go on Facebook. but Facebook doesn't really allow you to see a lot of other people's videos unless your their friend. So 3 guys made a site where everyone can see videos that people put up and that site is called Youtube.com
Youtube.com was founded by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. It was founded in 2005. Youtube was later bought by Google inc. for 1.5 billion dollars and now serves as a subsidary of Google. Chad Hurley is the only one of the three founders who still really works on youtube.
Youtube makes more money now. It is used by over a billion people. Youtube.com is commonly known as just Youtube. So go on youtube now.
