Manny Pacquiao History by Kevin




Emanuel Dapidran Pacquiao a.k.a Manny Pacquiao was born December 17, 1978 to be one of the worlds greatest boxers. Manny ''Pac-Man'' Pacqiuao is a Filipino pro-boxer and a politician. Manny is a seven-division world champion and also the first boxer to win seven different titles in seven different weight classes.
He is currently the WBO Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion). Aside from boxing, Pacquio is an actor, music recorder, and a politician. In May 2010, he was elected to the House of Representatives in the 15th Congress of the Philippines, representing the province of Saragani.
''Pac-Man'' is the first boxer to become a congressman in the Philippines. Manny's boxing nicknames are Pac-Man, Fighting Pride of the Philippines, The Destroyer, The Mexicutioner, Pambansang Kamao (National Fist), and the Fighting Congressman.
His nine different weights were, Light Middleweight, Welterweight, Light Welterweight, Lightweight, Super Featherweight, Featherweight, Super Bantamweight, and Flyweight.
His height is 5ft 6 1/2 inches (1.69m) and his reach is 67in (170cm). He was born in Kiwabe, Bukidan, Philippines. His stance is Southpaw and his boxing record is 56 fights with 51 wins, 38 wins by KO, 3 losses, and 2 draws.
