Jackson Pollock was born in Cody, Wyoming in 1912.
He grew up in Arizona and California.
He move to New York at the age of 18.
Jackson Pollock had enrolled in a
Art Student League.
He worked in WPA Federal Art Project
in 1935.

He married Lee Krasner in 1945,
a painter.
They moved to East Hampton on Long Island.
Jackson Pollock died from a car accident in 1956
at the age 44.
Jackson was known for his art.
Splattering paint was beautiful mix into different color.
The colors express feelings, life and other things.
I think his art was like cool because it looked like he put everything in his head,
on paper and just started painting.
One painting i liked was called "He lost his wallet".
Jackson Pollock's wife died with him in the car accident.
On June 20 1984 at age 76, Jackson loved his artwork very much
because it described they way his feeling were.
I Think Jackson Pollock was a great artist and that
his art is beautiful
